The Story Behind the Name
I did not choose this business. This business chose me.
After being laid off, I spent 17 months doing everything right — sending applications, showing up to interviews, putting my best foot forward — and hearing no more times than I can count. But those 17 months did something that rejection never intended to do. They gave me clarity.
"If I can make money for a corporation, perform under pressure for someone else's bottom line, and give my best to a company that can let me go without warning — why am I not doing that for myself?"
That question changed everything. I made a decision that no employer would ever again dictate my worth, determine my ceiling, or define what I am capable of.
I turned to rideshare driving — honestly, the one thing I never wanted to do. But God has a way of using the very thing you resist to reveal what you were built for. In that car, something happened. I met people. Real people who needed more than a ride. They needed someone who genuinely cared.
There were moments driving when I would ask God for a sign. And without fail, someone would get in that car and say exactly what I needed to hear — words that were not coincidence, not small talk, but a message. A confirmation that this was never just about driving. It was preparation.
After 25 years of growing as a person and as a professional — every job, every challenge, every season of uncertainty — I now know none of it was wasted. God did not abandon me in that season. He was equipping me for this moment.
This is my calling. My way. My rules. And most importantly — the preparation God had me go through to be ready for exactly this.
